대안공간 루프에서는 실험적인 정신을 기반으로 한 신진작가의 전시를 공모합니다.

● 지원사항_ 개인전 전시기획지원 및 전시공간지원, 리플렛 제작, 각종 홍보, 향후 루프 프로젝트 및 해외전시 참여기회제공

● 대상_ 대한민국 국적을 소지한 자로서 만 35세 이하 미술 활동하는 자

● 장르_ 제한 없음

● 공모일정_ 2008년 10월 6일부터 10월 15일 오후7시까지
우편 접수 시 당일소인까지 유효.

● 공모방법
공모기간 중 포트폴리오를 직접 혹은 우편으로 접수 받습니다.

● 제출서류_ 공모 신청서 1부 / 작가 약력 1부 / 포트폴리오

● 포트폴리오 작성시 주의사항
1) 포트폴리오는 시중에서 판매되고 있는 20매짜리 표지가 투명한 클리어 파일을 사용하여 주십시오.
2) 클리어 파일 포트폴리오 내부구성은 다음과 같은 순서로 정리해 주십시오.
- 1. 국문 작가 약력
- 2. 영문 작가 약력
- 3. 작품설명서 국•영문 (해외심사위원이 있으므로 영문자료 준비 반드시 부탁 드립니다.)
- 4. 작품 이미지 (15점 내외)
- 5. 기타 첨부 서류 (예) 리뷰 및 관련 기사 스크랩 등
- 6. 위의 자료들 및 작품 이미지 파일이 저장되어 있는 CD (CD 표면에 작가 이름과 연락처를 반드시 기입해 주십시오.)

[ICC] is pleased to hold the “EXTENDED SENSES: Present of Japanese / Korean Media Art” exhibition. Since the early 1990s, the media art environment has changed dramatically. With the spread of the Internet and faster, smaller computers, what had been leading edge technology has become accessible to the general public. Media art, which had been the exclusive domain of privileged artists, is now a more widely accepted means of artistic expression. Indeed, it is now recognized as having enormous potential for creating a wide range of expression through using a diverse selection of media in many different ways. This joint exhibition by the ICC and Gallery LOOP and Soongsil University BK21 Digital Media Division, both in Seoul, the Republic of Korea, features up-and-coming artists from Korea and Japan. Its central theme is exploring what is distinctive in the expressive grammar of media art in Korea, Japan, and Asia in general. The exhibition also focuses on differences in approaches to the use of technology in Japan and Korea. Interactive effects as Japanese and Korean artists influence each other through collaborative work linking art centers and through information and social exchanges between educational institutions are also planned. As the technology on which media art is grounded becomes nearly universal, it is increasingly difficult to discover individuality in the technical aspects of these works of art. This exhibition thus offers the prospect of showcasing the distinctive styles of each of the works. * The exhibition “EXTENDED SENSES” was held at Gallery LOOP, Seoul from May 30 to July 10, 2008. In the Japanese show at ICC, the exhibiting works and artists had been partly changed.
